My name is Tad Mcdonald and I’m proud to be in my 14th year of serving students and families at Gilcrest Elementary. Before coming to GES, I taught in 2nd, 4th, and 6th grades for 10 years. I knew early on, in my teaching experience, that I would be spending my career in education. I love coming to work every day and being challenged to provide a top-notch educational experience for every one of the students that we serve. I’m passionate about the thought, “Why not our kids?” This question has inspired many of the innovative things that we are implementing at GES every day. The students of Gilcrest Elementary, over the years, have attained high levels of success, due in large part to our families, staff, and their own dedication and hard work. I know that we will continue on this road of success and would appreciate you sharing any questions, comments, and concerns you may have.
